**NO SPOILERS**

With the kids on Winter break, it is the perfect time to spend some quality time together and get into the moving and grooving of a great film that will keep you wanting to see it again and again, is a perfect bonding moment to have away from the hustle and bustle of the holidays.

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Review Wire Media for Universal Pictures.

The holiday season is here, and movies are being released every single week but the much-anticipated new chapter from Illumination’s smash animated franchise is coming in with a powerhouse of talent that will keep you smiling, laughing and if you are a hormonal Mom that cries about everything, you may shed a few of those weepy tears too!

With bigger dreams than the original Sing movie our ever fearless and over optimistic koala, Buster Moon is ready to break barriers, defy gravity and go for the ride of a lifetime! If you are like me, you will be on IMDB trying to match the voices and talent to the animated characters. There is an all-star cast among many others I am not familiar with, but they all shine bright with vocal talent!

The glitz the glam the hard work all comes to a high adventure with many obstacles and many emotions from all the characters. There is going to be a huge issue though, to get to the climax of the movie and for all the hard work to pay off, they first have to convince a sad and isolated global music icon (Bono) who plays Clay Calloway to join them in their musical adventure. He was the most exclusive rock star but sheltered 15 years ago, not to be seen by many.

This movie is rated PG, some minor violence but mostly done in humor, some anger moments but for sure kid friendly! My son’s best quote was, “This movie does not suck one bit! It is awesome!!!!!” He is the kid who for over a year has had me searching for a release date! So, for him to get to see the movie before it hit theatres was a treasure of bonding time we loved.

(from left) Klaus Kickenklober (Adam Buxton, third from left), Johnny (Taron Egerton), Meena (Tori Kelly), Nooshy (Letitia Wright), Clay Calloway (Bono), Rosita (Reese Witherspoon), Porsha Crystal (Halsey), Darius (Eric André), Ash (Scarlett Johansson) and Gunter (Nick Kroll) in Illumination’s Sing 2, written and directed by Garth Jennings.

Jason’s boys got the opportunity to watch it two days later and they were dancing up a storm and laughing so much! Yes, I cried the second time I watched it too. My trigger is the moment Meena is on for her big performance….and we are waiting for the big climax moment to come…don’t say I didn’t warn you.

As a huge fan of Reese Witherspoon, Matthew McConaughey and Tori Kelly, I was eating this movie up from start to finish. My son, while not knowing WHO the voice is for Johnny, has loved this character since the original film. He loves all the dancing and singing that Johhny does in this film. The fact that he sang a Shawn Mendes song and that will be the first big concert my son attends in 2022, was pure icing for my musical loving heart!

Get your sneak peek at the trailer now and don’t say I didn’t want you about ALL the emotions! This movie hits every emotion and every personality. Between the clashing and working together, it is a great way to show that you can dream it, you can do it and friends are family! A great storyline for all children and a great reminder for parents!

If you are like me and want to match voices to animated characters here is the IMDB CAST LIST.
